How do I create my account? It's a fairly painless process to establish your username and password for the first time. Click the register link, fill out the form, open your email, click the validate email link, and then log in using your chosen username and password.

Below, you will see screen shots of the homepage and both of the login modules. Notice at the top of the screen, there is a registration link and login form for you to use to login into your account and begin posting listings or saving them to your “short list.” Also, a vertical display of the login module is located below the “Newest Sellers” section, along with the registration link and the “lost password” link.

When clicking on the register link, you will be taken to a form that requires you to submit a valid email address and some of your contact information. Once you submit the form, an email will automatically be sent out with further instructions for you to click on the link received in your email to activate your account. After you have gone through the above process, you must first create your profile before you can add listings to VirginiaBeachEstates.com. If you are a FSBO and do not wish to show a picture of yourself, you can opt to leave it blank (no photo available will be displayed) or you can submit an image of something else (a picture of your home, etc.) as long as the image is within our guidelines.

An administrator at VirginiaBeachEstates.com will need to verify and approve your profile before it goes live, as well as any listings that you try to submit. This process can take up to 24 hours, but is usually taken care of within a few minutes. Before you are logged in, our homepage (on the right hand side) will look exactly like this: 

This screen shot below shows you exactly what the “You Logged In! (Control panel)” looks like after logging in. Your control panel will remain in the same location throughout the entire website and helps you to quickly navigate through your account features.
