»Norfolk, Virginia- Chrysler Museum of Art
The Chrysler Museum of Art is one of America’s great fine art museums. The museum was founded in 1939, making it 61 years old, and was known initially as the Norfolk Museum of Arts and Sciences. It still does contain science artifacts but mostly historical science artifacts that were related to the history in Norfolk. The museum mostly holds fine arts collection today.

»Norfolk, VA- Lake Drummond
Lake Drummond is one of the only two natural freshwater lakes in Virginia. It is located between Norfolk and Elizabeth City on a marshy region called the Great Dismal Swamp. The surface of the lake is approximately 3,142 acres and the maximum depth is six feet.

Exploring Norfolk would eventually lead you to Nauticus, America’s National Maritime Center. The facility is located near the downtown waterfront where the naval base is. It is in Nauticus, that the battleship, USS Wisconsin is berthed for good. Nauticus is actually a maritime science museum filled with historical artifacts during the military times that Norfolk endured and scientific findings today that are both educational and insightful.

Naval Station Norfolk situated in Norfolk, Virginia is a base of the United States Navy. It supports naval forces operating in the Atlantic Ocean, Mediterranean Sea and Indian Ocean. The station is also known as Norfolk Navy Base and it occupies 4,300 acres (17km2) in one of Hampton Roads real estate known locations as Sewell’s Point. It is the world’s largest Naval Station; in fact it is known to be the largest naval installation in the world!
